Your Man Guide on Companionship: Hold Great Expectations

by @ 11:51 pm. Filed under Uncategorized

I’m not your typical gullible bachelor, all too satisfied by sitting at home alone like a spoil sport. It’s unlikely you haven’t read me ramble about great dating and compatibility. There’s a reason for that.

Datelessness is a fixable trait and totally ripped out of my man programming (man-gramming?). However, Here’s the situation, I had to end a 3-year fling and I felt a great deal for but essentially deadended for both of us. Therefore somone might go on record saying it has been a few years since I dated someone new. I’m missing the great expectations Denver I once did.

Being single is new and free. This much is certain, I refuse to stay in undisturbed, binging on Jack Bauer (from 24) on my big screen. The biggest cause of this bout of fresh break-up dating boredom? My coworkers are stiffs, and there are fewer available women.

My take-no-holds college friend, Andrew, who doesn’t know the meaning of dating lameness, informed me he’s now shooting from the same blind as I am. He introduced me to this Dallas dating service called Great Expectations. Of course, I take to introductions with sophisticated ladies around my age. Surprise, I put myself on a plan and joined.

Keep it real, ya can’t grovel due to not having plans if you haven’t stepped off the bench. Just like our college basketball coach Chris Kniffen carried on with a smile, “You’re complaining to the competition, sonny.”

The man didn’t know my name. Still, Coach was on the money in a good old fashioned way. He meant well to everyone. This care-free Dallas matchmaking service I joined might have done a number on coach’s shiny bald head.

Through great expectations I mingled with a few substantive and desirable ladies that hold my expectations. I actually had a good time with some terrific incredible singles. I ducked out of the mixer a little early with a promising exchange of numbers, in addition to the fact that I grew some professional acquaintances for work. I’m impressed.

Take action. You won’t complain if you don’t try. Don’t sell yourself short, you might as well have great expectations for life’s sake.

Live It Up!
